Welcome to EU Mobile Challenge 2015-2016

Welcome to the European Chapter of Global Mobile Challenge. Mobile entrepreneurs from all around Europe will have the chance to meet each other and learn from the best in the mobile industry. Winners of this competition will compete at 4YFN, the entrepreneurship event within Mobile World Congress Barcelona.

Register your app or game idea and start an exciting journey! With your talent and our help, you could end up with a great app, capital investment, users, and lots of opportunities.

The challenge is organized by IE Business School and 4YFN (4 Years From Now), the entrepreneur event of Mobile World Capital Barcelona.

The Challenge
  • Form a team of 2-6 members

    At least one member must be 18-35 years old and resident in a European country.

  • Register your idea

    Application process ends on January 14th 2016 (Spanish teams 30th December). You just need to explain your idea in a few words!

  • Start developing

    Develop your app, from scratch or from the point where it already is.

  • Learn from the best

    Attend the Acceleration Camp nearest to you or access freely the online documentation in this website.

  • Submit your project

    Record a video of 3 minutes. Show us what your idea is about and a demo of your app!

  • Compete in the local finals

    If you app qualifies for the local competition, you'll present your idea for 3 minutes in front of a professional jury. 'Please note that the sponsor MWC Barcelona will award a prize of €2000 to the Spanish winner'.

  • Win the EU Mobile Challenge

    Winners of the local finals will compete in Eindhoven for the regional final.

  • Compete in the Global Final

    Winners of the European Challenge and their peers from the American, Asian, African and Arab chapters will compete at 4YFN during Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2016.

The EU Mobile Challenge is part of a Global Strategy to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among young from all over the world.


This is an annual challenge organized since 2011, is the biggest technological competition of the world dedicated to mobile apps.
